dont wanna sound like I’m reaching but tbh I think namjoon was trapped in toxic masculinity during debut and bangtan’s first years, the fact that he can now say he’s ashamed of acting all tough and of the way he carried himself is super important bc it means he was able to break through that and realize that there’s no need to try and protect his masculinity so much? like even the way he dresses and acts had changed so much and he looks so much happier and just in a better place mentally and im so happy for him, if you think about it there’s no way in hell debut era namjoon would have wear a skirt for the sake of it or do a photoshoot wearing fishnets and a corset but he did !!! and he enjoys it !!!! and hes happy about it !!!! and i think that’s just so important
