This is a fun little prompt/study if you want to get in object design: look at an abstract painting you like and try to isolate just one element in it, then sketch it as if it was a lone object and try to image it as a three dimensional and maybe functional object. These are all elements that moved me from Agnes pelton paintings. 

From left to right, up to down, I picture these as: a fake plant, an umbrella, an earring, a pendant, a temporary tattoo, a jewelry box, a night-light .
