BREAKING NEWS: Pop Team Epic sued for multiple copyright violations.

Pop Team Epic was forced to shut down production late Friday afternoon when multiple studios received word of their projects being lampooned by the series. According to the studios’ legal representatives it was a breach of etiquette, and at no point were they ever approached or asked if their material could be treated in such a manner. “Roguish” and “Degenerative” were some of the words used to describe their actions. Not to mention they were the only ones this news story was allowed to print.

Recent events has even caused Toonami to remove the “rogue degenerate” series from their line-up even though it was arguably one of their most popular shows.

When reached for comment, co-creator of Toonami Jason DeMarco had this to say:

It’s a shame about what has happened but we had no choice. Toriyama said if we didn’t remove Pop Team Epic from the block that he’d take back the rights to the Dragon Ball franchise which would then keep us from being able to air the series, and if I’m being 100% honest I’d rather sell my mother on the black market than lose the rights to Dragon Ball Z.

I can’t lose Dragon Ball Z.

Not again.”

Popuko and Pipimi later released a statement which read:

Are you upset?
